We offer independent assurance services, including organisational greenhouse gas (carbon) inventory measurement and reporting following the ISO 14064-1 and GHG Protocol standards. We have extensive experience in providing assurance to central and local government, large organisations, as well as small and medium-sized businesses. We are a New Zealand Carbon Neutral Government Programme supplier and all full audits are overseen by a CEP Certified Carbon Auditor.

Aotearoa New Zealand Climate Standards

We offer assurance services to Climate Reporting Entities (CREs) under the Aotearoa New Zealand Climate Standards (NZ CS 1, NZ CS 2 and NZ CS 3) to support compliance with mandatory climate-related disclosure requirements. Our team brings extensive experience in the assurance of Scope 3 emissions, including complex categories such as financed emissions.

Product, Event and Services Greenhouse Gas/Carbon Audits

We assure the carbon footprint of your product, event or service, enabling you to credibly report your verified carbon footprint to your customers, suppliers and wider supply chain.

We conduct the Eco Choice Aotearoa Ecolabel (formerly Environmental Choice) assessments via the NZ Ecolabelling Trust.

Community (City) Greenhouse Gas/Carbon Inventory Audits

We provide independent assurance of community-scale (city) carbon inventories in accordance with the GHG Protocol for Community-Scale Greenhouse Gas Inventories. It follows a global, standardised framework to enable cities to measure and ultimately reduce their carbon emissions. Our assurance process offers an objective, third-party review of reported emissions data, helping to ensure accuracy, transparency, and credibility.

We conduct ACA accredited verification (Levels 1-5) for the world’s only global carbon management programme tailored for airports. Airport Carbon Accreditation offers airports a recognised standard to measure, manage, and reduce their carbon emissions. Second-party Audits (External Reviews)

If a full audit isn’t feasible due to a smaller organisational footprint or budget constraints, we offer external reviews or second-party audits of your greenhouse gas emissions inventory. These assessments provide a qualified evaluation of your carbon calculations, and ensure your emissions inventory report aligns with the most applicable standards. We review the work of consultants in countries we don’t provide assurance services to give you peace of mind that your work is ready for external audit.
