Selecting a Carbon Measurement Software

Questions to ask before selecting a software for your carbon footprint measurement.

Choosing, and committing to a carbon measurement software can be a daunting process. We get asked often which one we would recommend, but for reasons of neutrality and independence we cannot give an answer to this.

The ‘right’ software depends on a number of factors, which are often unique to the reporting organisation. There is no one-size-fits-all. So to find the solution that works best for you, your team and your company, we recommend asking yourself and the possible software providers a number of questions about what it is that you need, both now and in the future.

Using our auditor lens, we have assembled a list of sensible questions to help in deciding which carbon software measurement software might be the right fit.
